Websites, logos, taglines, e-blasts and ads—these are a few of my favorite things. I love developing concepts for businesses and projects, especially initial branding. For many years I have collaborated closely with graphic designers to design campaigns where the copy complements the artistic vision. With a minor in art history and an eye for design, I like to put visual and textual elements together in a dynamic way. As a grammar nerd and committed editor, I also work on more formal marketing projects, including annual reports and corporate manuals (oh how I love creating style guides). Good marketing tells a story. My experience as a creative writer enables me to conjure fantastic worlds—from realistic suburbs where people visit pleasant hospitals to impossible supermarkets where time-traveling royals confusedly shop for produce!
